I finished my road trip scarf the day before flying to Japan but I forgot to post this. The road trip scarf was made with one skein of Moda Vera Fayette (frenzy) with some scrap white yarn for edging and old buttons and beads from my secondary school sewing kit. The only thing I didn’t follow was I only did one row of edging because I ran out of yarn as I only brought the main colour overseas with me.
It’s pretty, and easy to work up. I did find it a bit short and hence the heavy buttons to add some weight to pull the ends down. I like making shawls, they are quite pretty to look at, might retry the virus shawl later but once I use up more of my stash since I have too many balls of yarn (apparently).
